What Is More Important - Pay Or Flexibility? You Make The Call

A global survey of more than 8,000 frontline workers in 10 countries found that flexibility, financial wellness, and having a voice in work-life balance are the most pressing issues for this segment of the workforce in 2026.

More than 75 percent respondents reported burnout in 2025, and 56 percent said they were living paycheck to paycheck.

After pay, scheduling flexibility was identified as the most important factor that influenced whether employees stay or leave their jobs.

Many workers reported difficulty making last-minute shift changes, challenges taking sufficient time off, and limited opportunities for advancement or learning new skills.
